Born in 2010, <em>Freaky Monsters<\/em> is published and edited by Ray Ferry &#8212; the man who revived the original <em>Famous Monsters of Filmland <\/em>magazine from the undead in 1990 and kept it going for 18 years (2008). Ferry elevated the standard of the magazine and gave it its own unique voice &#8212; a lighthearted and irreverent voice in which the classic creatures of Transylvania live as normal while normal humans are the ones with all the troubles.  Ferry published 50 fang-tastic regular series issues, 2 coffee table anthology books, 2 world fan conventions, 3 renowned video documentaries, a new paperback editon, countless toys and novelties and an autobiograpy titled &#8220;Life Is But A Scream!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <em>Freaky Monsters<\/em> magazine, Ferry continues the same look, feel, style and quality he infused into <em>Famous Monsters<\/em> magazine.
